Details Regarding Courtyard Bistro Performance Thresholds

Franchisees | In 2014, Courtyard launched the Bistro Performance Thresholds program for all Bistro hotels in the U.S. & Canada. Management companies can certify leaders to conduct the one-day Bistro training required for hotels that perform below the thresholds for a tracking period. Certification for the first tracking period must be completed by December 15, 2014. One element of certification is Bistro Operations attendance; an above-property session has been added for November 14 in Charlotte and registration details are below.

Bistro Performance Thresholds Program Overview

In February 2014, Courtyard announced a Bistro Performance Thresholds program for Bistro properties beginning July 1, 2014 to ensure a consistent guest experience. GSS thresholds have been established for the following two F&B-related questions:

  • Offered a breakfast experience where the speed and efficiency met your needs: 47.0% and above
  • Offered an evening food & beverage experience that met your needs: 45.0% and above

The first tracking period runs from July 1 – December 31, 2014. If a property performs below either threshold for the tracking period, the property will be required to send a property manager to Bistro Operations training and pay for a one-day Bistro training visit from Marriott resources or certified individuals. More details on the program and available resources can be found on MGS.
