Courtyard 1,000th Hotel Global Activation

During the first quarter of 2015, Courtyard reached a huge milestone – the opening of the 1,000th Courtyard hotel. This achievement is a true testament to the hard work, dedication and tremendous guest service from Courtyard properties over the last 32 years.

The official celebration will occur on March 31 at the 1,000th Courtyard hotel – Walla Walla, Washington. As a lead-up to the official 1,000th Hotel Global Celebration Day, there will be a six-week rolling celebration aimed at creating global media and consumer buzz. As part of the celebration, during the week of March 31, all guests will receive commemorative key cards and Marriott Rewards members checking in on March 31 will receive 1,000 Marriott Rewards points. The Courtyard brand team is also encouraging hotels to offer guests something special to celebrate, and has created an optional signature beverage, the Courtyard Sparkler, that hotels can serve in the lobby on March 31.
