Outages and Connectivity Issues Between Expedia & Marriott


Over the last two weeks, all Marriott-branded properties have experienced intermittent issues with their inventory not being available for sale on Expedia-branded websites. We believe this is related to a capacity issue with the interface between Marriott and Expedia. When this capacity issue occurs, the interface is designed to temporarily remove the hotel’s availability from the Expedia site while the issue is occurring. Expedia and Marriott are working together to resolve this issue. We will continue to update you as we better understand the issue and develop a solution. At this time, no immediate action is required by the hotels.
