HYP3R | On-Property Guest Engagement Social Platform


Marriott International has partnered with HYP3R, an award-winning tech startup & platform, to surface all social conversations being shared by on-property guests across Marriott’s global portfolio. HYP3R surfaces all social posts shared publicly by on-property guests, regardless of hashtags or mentions, making it easy to engage guests and personalize their experience.

Hyp3r is a real-time, location-based engagement platform that allows hotels to see every post shared from within their property and engage personally to elevate the guest experience and drive loyalty. Key features include:

  • Explore – real-time content hub of all social media activity within your hotel, beyond hashtags and mentions. You can sort and filter the feed by keywords, network, influence and time.
  • People –  browse all the unique users posting from your location
  • Alerts – surfaces content opportunities based on specific conditions, such as keywords, followers and more
  • Conversations – tracks responses, mentions and new followers – all in response to your engagements
  • Content – tracks and stores all User-Generated Content (UGC) requests using the Request Permission Custom Engagement tool, organizing it into Approved, Pending and Rejected. Use permissioned UGC in your own social or marketing channels.
  • Activity – log of the engagements done by your team
  • Intelligence – track behaviors, trends and your location’s performance and influence

hyp3r2Hyp3r is now available for interested properties. Hotels can signup via eFAST using the Digital Services by Marriott application. The cost for Hyp3r is $250 per month, billed annually.

Please note that Hyp3r for former Starwood-branded hotels is coming soon. We will provide a future update once this platform is available to these hotels.
