Marriott Organizational Announcement | Leigh Zarelli Named Senior Vice President, Global Digital
Effective August 7, Marriott’s Digital, Distribution, Revenue Management + Global Sales leadership team will be completed with the addition of Leigh Zarelli. Leigh will oversee the digital and mobile strategies for Marriott, focusing on delivering a superior customer experience while growing market share. Under Leigh’s leadership, the team responsible for more than $16 billion in annual revenue will focus on delivering world-class websites and mobile apps for our customers as we integrate the best of Marriott and Starwood digital capabilities. Leigh will oversee Marriott’s global direct-digital channels and lead efforts to drive conversion in support of our global sales strategies.
Leigh joins Marriott from HMH Publishing Company, where she was recently the SVP, Consumer Digital Products and Platforms and oversaw the development of the company’s direct-to-consumer digital and subscription business. While there, she built and developed the digital product team which oversaw all new consumer products, including mobile apps and a multi-channel subscription platform called Curious World.
In her new role as Senior Vice President, Global Digital, Leigh will report to Brian King, Global Officer for Digital, Distribution, Revenue Management + Global Sales.
