Q4 Game Plans Now Available


Please note that GMs received their Q4 Game Plans via email (MxM – Sept. 28 | Franchise – Sept. 29). This information will also be shared via the Oct. 2 editions of Weekly Update and Week Ahead.

The Q4 Game Plans are now available for Marriott Rewards and SPG hotels. Game Plans are intended to aid hotels in their planning for the quarter by providing an overview of actions that will be requested of hotels by Marriott in the coming months. Please review your Game Plan and share it with your teams so they are aware of the topics and the activities required.


New this quarter, SPG hotels will be able to access their Game Plans on The Check-In site. In addition to viewing their Game Plan on The Check-In, SPG hotels will begin receiving their Week Ahead content in the Weekly Update email, which will also be available on The Check-In (effective Oct. 9).

What is The Check-In?
The Check-In is a one-stop shop for communications that houses the quarterly Game Plans and other communications from Marriott.

Why Use Weekly Update on The Check-In?
Moving to the Weekly Update on The Check-In enables GMs, property associates, and franchise management company contacts to receive a personalized email each week filtered by the brands, disciplines and region that apply to them, as selected in their profile. Each week, individuals who have subscribed will receive an email with “Take Action” and “Take Note” items, as well as have access to an Archive section. Note: those who previously received Weekly Update and/or Week Ahead will need to subscribe to continue to receive these weekly communications.
