Shaping Service Annual Updates
Franchise Management Companies | We appreciate your support in encouraging compliance with Shaping Service and ensuring that every associate understands and embodies their brand’s culture and expectations for service delivery. Several important updates are coming to Shaping Service, designed to make the program easier to administer for GMs and Training Partners, as well as provide a better experience for new hires. These changes are in direct response to feedback from Market Leaders, GMs, Training Partners, and program participants. As part of these updates, we have:
- Added additional translations
- Updated program implementation materials
- Updated program content
- Developed new Performance & Delivery Support resources
- Simplified completion tracking & reporting
These updates will be launched automatically on Dec. 1. For those who have previously completed Shaping Service, no additional action will be required.
Compliance numbers across all participating brands are currently between 65% and 75%, and these updates should aid in completion for all remaining GMs and associates. We will make targeted updates to the program annually, based on stakeholder feedback and business needs, to continually improve the program.
Simplified Reporting and Compliance Reminder
The myLearning Reporting team recently introduced a new, simplified Shaping Service compliance report and supporting resources. These are now available on each brand’s Service Exchange site. Franchise management companies may access compliance reporting for properties in their portfolio through the Reporting & Analytics tool within myPDR. Detailed Job Aid and video Demo are available for those new to the process.
