2018 Yext Partnership Announcement
Marriott’s global SEO team has entered into a partnership with Yext to enroll and fund all hotels in Yext PowerListings in 2018. Previously available to SPG hotels, the offering is being expanded to include all Marriott Rewards hotels; any hotels that were not previously participating have now been enrolled at no cost to their property. Hotels will be responsible for funding Yext for outlets (restaurants, spas, golf courses, etc.) should they wish to participate.
Yext offers a proven, valuable tool for making hotel data consistent across the web and driving local SEO performance. Yext is a local-data syndication tool designed to manage and distribute business location-related information to online local-data providers and directory sites.
Benefits of Yext
- Platform Syndication – Syndicates to 100+ global local listings sites, voice search tools and GPS systems. These publishers include: exclusively Yahoo Local and MapQuest, as well as social sites like Facebook and Foursquare.
- Location Manager – Facilitates the management of Google My Business, Apple Maps and Bing Places for Business. Hotels are empowered to easily update and optimize hotel information and imagery.
- Duplicate Suppression – Reduces the number of erroneous/duplicate online citations which impact the online presence for our hotels. This alone is a huge win for local SEO and search visibility.
