Courtyard Marketing Campaign: Passion Moves Us Forward


Courtyard Owners & Franchise Management Companies | This week, the Courtyard brand launched the first step of a major shift in brand communications with a new global marketing campaign, Passion Moves Us Forward. The campaign reflects the shared belief that Courtyard has with guests — to follow your passion, never settle and always move forward in your professional and personal life. Other phases include the release of a new, streamlined brand logo—and a completely refreshed brand voice with updated collateral templates and consumable items to be released to properties in Q3.

TV spots will run on both cable sports and entertainment channels—including ABC, ESPN, BBC America, Food Network, National Geographic and Discovery. View the 60 second spot on Courtyard’s YouTube channel.

As an extension of the brand’s partnership with the NFL, another version of the spot, featuring Atlanta Falcons running back Devonta Freeman, aired on ESPN during the NFL draft. Courtyard has been the league’s official hotel brand since 2012. The brand hosted NFL Draft attendees live at the AT&T Stadium at Arlington, TX with Dak Prescott, Emmitt Smith and sports analyst Adam Shefter.

As the first hotel built specifically for business travelers, Courtyard has always been passionate about delivering the most relevant hotel experience for guests. The brand continues to evolve to meet the generational shift in how guests work and travel today, ultimately heightening the image and perception of Courtyard competitively.
