Introducing the Marriott Hotels Fusion Duvet

Marriott Hotels has partnered with P Kaufmann to craft a custom Marriott bed linen package which now includes the Marriott bed Fusion duvet cover, available for order July 1 through the American Hotel Register. The new fusion duvet has been approved by the Marriott Hotels brand as an alternative to current duvet standard specifications and will be covered under the MH bedding brand standard as of July 1. Hotels have been instructed via the Weekly Update to begin ordering the Fusion duvet after July 1 for product that is worn or damaged, as the MH bedding brand standard will be updated as of July 1 to reflect these changes.
The Fusion product is a “top sheet”-like product with a 36” pocket to hold the duvet insert and protect guests from the insert. The Marriott bed fusion duvet is designed to be lighter, making the product easier to use when making beds, and has been tested to withstand internal and outsourced laundry facilities. Furthermore, it has shown to be 30% lighter (on avg. 1lb less) and 25-45% less expensive to purchase, with ongoing saving of up to 30%* from reduced laundry costs.
