MESH & SRO Tracker Compliance

This information will be communicated to hotels via the Oct. 15 version of the Weekly Update.

As of March 2018, all hotels should be online with the Marriott Environmental Sustainability Hub (MESH), Marriott’s single utility platform. The main MESH dashboard features the Sustain Responsible Operations (SRO) Tracker, which helps aggregate sustainability practices at the property level.

Many corporate customers require hotel environmental footprint information in order for properties to be included in their meetings, events and transient preferred programs. In order to be able to provide this information, please ensure hotels within your portfolio are up-to-date in MESH and its associated SRO Tracker. This information is pulled into EPIC. If there are incomplete fields in EPIC, the customer will not receive accurate information and there is the potential of the property being declined. Per the brand standard, all energy, water and waste data must be entered into MESH and all sustainability initiatives recorded in the SRO Tracker.

Please work with your hotels’ engineering team(s) to ensure that all this data is complete (including 2016, 2017 and 2018 utility data) in order for this information to be fed into EPIC, MARRFP, and customer reports.
