Q1 2019 Game Plans Now Available

Please note that GMs received their Q1 Game Plans via the Dec. 17  edition of the Weekly Update as well as via a direct email on Dec. 19.

The Q1 Game Plans are now available on The Check-In for Marriott Rewards and SPG hotels. Game Plans are intended to aid hotels in their planning for the quarter by providing an overview of actions that will be requested of hotels by Marriott in the coming months.

While SPG hotels continue to focus on stabilization, all hotels will be asked to deploy new projects in Q1 2019, including:

  • Loyalty: all hotels will need to take steps to prepare for the new Loyalty program name and identity.
  • Mobile Key: Per the global brand standard, all hotels must install and/or activate Mobile Key certified locks by Jan. 1, 2021. Hotels that have not yet activated Mobile Key must update their Mobile Key Property Profile by Jan. 31 to provide the status of their lock upgrades or replacements and a planned installation timeframe to receive deployment communications.
  • Marriott Rewards Hotels: Submit Super Admins For Sertifi, New Third-Party Credit Card Process | A new web-based tool called Sertifi will manage the sending/receiving of third-party credit card authorization forms, replacing the current manual faxing process. Note: SPG hotels completed this deployment in December 2018.
  • FSPMS Hotels: Complete ERS Activities | Review the Rollout Schedule for Q1 of 2019, which contains start and completion dates for participating hotels. Hotels must complete two prerequisites – ERS Photography and Bed Type Conversion (BTC) – prior to beginning the ERS Activation rollout.
  • SPG Hotels: Maintain Focus On Reservations Platform Stabilization | SPG hotel teams have accomplished so much over the last several months to ensure a successful cutover to the Marriott Reservations Platform. We appreciate these efforts, as well as your support of your hotels, to make this integration a success.
    • Beginning Jan. 8, Change Crew webinars for SPG hotels will be hosted every other week through April 2 to ensure properties receive the information necessary to continue to acclimate to the Marriott Reservations Platform.
    • A series of in-market workshops will be hosted throughout Q1 and Q2. Additional details will be shared with properties via the Weekly Update and Change Crew webinars.
    • Training remains available within the Digital Learning Platform (DLP). Both pre- and post-cutover training is available. Post-cutover training includes reporting, data management and more. To view a full list of post-cutover training by function visit the Interactive Planning Tool on the Digital Learning Zone

Please review the Game Plan and share it with your teams so they are aware of all of the topics and activities required.
