Classic Select Brand Voice Update


Marriott is launching new Brand Voice for several of the Classic Select Brands. This includes updates to logos and brand voice design for Courtyard, Fairfield, Residence Inn, SpringHill Suites and TownePlace Suites. The objective of these updates is to create a fresh and distinct look and feel for each brand that aligns with their brand positioning, strengthens their portfolio affiliation with a consistent treatment of the “by Marriott” endorsement, and introduces the modern Marriott endorsement font.

In preparation for this update, hotels are asked to deplete their existing inventory of old brand voice and begin reordering items in the new brand voice from approved vendors.

In addition to supporting the pull-through of changes in your properties, franchise management companies are asked to also review the identity and logos for brands that are reflected on your individual company websites and social media presence (e.g., Management Company Facebook pages). If you currently display logos for Marriott brands, please make sure they are updated to the newest versions, which are available on MGS:
