Program Services Fund OFB Updates
As previously communicated, Marriott International has implemented a Program Services Fund (PSF) – referred to as a Program Services Contribution (PSC) on OFB invoices – beginning January 1, 2019 for all system-wide, required, recurring charges. As a result of implementing the PSF, hotels will see changes to property charges that are in-scope for the PSF.
Hotels should have already received specific communications regarding their 2019 budget, as well as invoice format and timing changes.
Invoice Format and Timing Change
- Individual Programs and Services that are in the PSF will no longer appear on the monthly reimbursable invoice delivered on the 2nd of the month.
- Managed by Marriott (MxM) hotels should be sure to accrue the PSF charges for January month end close.
- These charges will appear within the “Program Services Contribution” category on the OFB invoice, along with the Sales and Marketing Fund (SMF).
- The PSF invoice will be delivered on the following dates and will include both PSF and SMF charges:
- MxM hotels: delivered on the 12th of each month
- Franchise Marriott Rewards MSB hotels: delivered on the 12th of each month
- Franchise Marriott Rewards FS hotels: delivered on the 7th of each month
- Franchise SPG hotels: delivered on the 7th of each month
