Q2 2019 Game Plans Now Available


Please note that GMs received their Q2 Game Plans via the April 1 edition of the Weekly Update.

The Q2 Game Plans are now available on The Check-In. Game Plans are intended to aid hotels in their planning for the quarter by providing an overview of actions that will be requested of hotels by Marriott in the coming months.

The following topics and key actions were covered in the Q2 Game Plans for hotels:

  • Loyalty: Throughout Q2, new initiatives and engagement and recognition activities will launch for both associates and members, including: Marriott Bonvoy Connector, Marriott Bonvoy Tours & Activities activation, Program Updates, New Ambassador Training, and Cobalt Program training requirements.
  • Mobile Key: Reminder about the Mobile Key Brand Standard, timing requirements, franchise IT support, and deployment milestones.
  • Mobile Dining (for in-scope brands): Reminder of opt-in details and instructions for hotels wishing to participate in Mobile Dining.
  • Proactive Chat + Proactive Service Recovery: Implementation reminder for these features, which will launch in Q2, as well as links to resources to assist with implementation. 
  • ERS Activation: FSPMS, FOSSE and Lightspeed hotels should review the rollout schedule to prepare for ERS.
