Loyalty Premium Reimbursement Forecast Tool

Franchise Management Companies | We wanted to make you aware of a new tool that was released this week by Marriott’s Global Revenue Management Team. The Loyalty Premium Reimbursement Forecast Tool will assist your revenue managers in forecasting monthly premium loyalty reimbursement revenue, which is defined as the additional revenue that is awarded to a property above the base reimbursement when the property achieves higher occupancy levels. This tool will be most helpful for those properties that receive a high volume of Redemption room nights that need to forecast the additional revenue received from the program on high occupancy nights. The tool is based on current projections within One Yield and Redemption room nights.  

This tool is intended to assist your revenue managers in improving forecast accuracy by providing insight into the other room revenue hotels can anticipate from loyalty premium reimbursement. This tool will generate the estimated premium loyalty reimbursement revenue that a hotel should consider to determine the amount of other room revenue per room night that is forecasted within One Yield Revenue Planning.

The Loyalty Premium Reimbursement Forecast Tool can be used by all brands that have One Yield and are assigned to Award Reimbursement Policy numbers 1  – 5.  A job aid is also available with the tool for ease of use and is posted on MGS > Sales, Marketing & Revenue Management > Revenue Management > Tools.
