Two-Step Verification Registration Required by July 23 to Maintain Access to Office 365 Applications
In continued efforts to ensure and protect data security, Marriott’s Two-Step Verification is expanding to Office 365. Beginning July 23, 2019, Two-Step Verification will be required to access Microsoft Office 365 applications on Marriott’s license, such as Outlook, OneDrive and SharePoint. After this time, associates must enter their Two-Step Verification passcode which will be retrieved from one of the following three methods:
- Printed grid (free)
- SMS text (data and message rates apply)
- Entrust ST Mobile App (free; recommended as the most secure and user-friendly method)
We recommend that hotels register as soon as possible to avoid delays in accessing these tools. If an associate has already registered for Marriott’s Two-Step Verification, they will not need to register again and their previously selected method will remain as their method moving forward.
