Q3 2019 Game Plans Now Available
Please note that GMs received their Q3 Game Plans via the July 1 edition of the Weekly Update.
The Q3 Game Plans are now available on The Check-In. Game Plans are intended to aid hotels in their planning for the quarter by providing an overview of actions that will be requested of hotels by Marriott in the coming months.
The following topics and key actions were covered in the Game Plans for hotels:
- Loyalty: Hotels should complete Loyalty Foundational Training, continue to review monthly Connector kits, deliver Cobalt Program benefits to members beginning July 11, and prepare for gift card expansion.
- Associate Alert Devices: Hotels should prepare for associate alert device deployment, which will be implemented by Jan. 1, 2021.
- Mobile Key: Reminder about the Mobile Key Brand Standard, timing requirements, franchise IT support, and deployment milestones.
- Mobile Dining (for in-scope brands): Reminder of opt-in details and instructions for hotels wishing to participate in Mobile Dining.
- Training: Hotels should complete annual required Global Privacy Training and Human Trafficking Awareness Training.
