2020 Field Marketing: Program Enhancements, Enrollment & Resources

These enhancements were designed to provide the following benefits to each participating hotel:

  • Simplify Field Marketing structure
  • Increase service options and flexibility for hotels

For Franchised Hotels Currently Participating in Field Marketing Services:

Throughout late August & September 2019, Account Managers will be sharing customized 2020 Field Marketing plans and budget proposals with your currently participating franchised hotels, inclusive of service levels, marketing tactics and budget recommendation.

Currently participating franchised hotels will be asked to review and provide feedback on their proposed 2020 tiers of service & budget recommendation by September 20, 2019. In early October, Account Managers will provide instructions to formally approve your hotels’ tiers of service and budget in an online Enrollment Platform.

Franchised hotels that choose to opt-out of Field Marketing in 2020 should notify their Account Managers prior to Oct. 1, 2019. The Account Managers will provide additional guidance on the opt-out process. Hotels who do not opt-out by this deadline will be auto-renewed for 2020 at their current level of service unless a service level adjustment is requested within the October enrollment period. 2020 Service level commitments will be considered final on October 31, 2019.

For Franchised Hotels Not Currently Participating in Field Marketing Services:

Franchised hotels that do not currently participate in Field Marketing and that are interested in beginning services in January 2020 may sign-up during our Open Enrollment Period (Oct. 1-31, 2019).

To request a consultation, interested hotels should complete the Americas Field Marketing Participation Inquiry Form and a Field Marketing Representative will contact you to discuss service options in more detail. Inquires for the 2020 annual Enrollment Period must be submitted no later than Oct. 15, 2019.

Following the consultation, hotels will be provided with customized tier and budget recommendations. To secure the commitment, the hotel’s General Manager or an approved Management Company representative must approve these commitments via our online Enrollment Platform prior to Oct. 31, 2019.
