Hulu Discontinued on GRE Platform

Franchise Management Companies | Hotels that have implemented the Guest Room Entertainment (GRE) system benefit from a variety of content streaming options, including HBO GO, Netflix, and others.

Unfortunately, Hulu has made the decision to discontinue support of their current application on the LG and Enseo set top box hardware used by the Marriott Guest Room Entertainment (GRE) program. As a result, Hulu will no longer be offered within the GRE system.

Guest impact should be limited, as Hulu viewership was significantly lower than other GRE entertainment offerings. Guests staying at hotels with Connect My Device (CMD) can access Hulu on their personal device and cast it to the GRE platform.

No action is needed by hotels with GRE installed, as the GRE service provider will remove the Hulu app from the platform automatically.
