Legacy-Starwood Video Migration Deadline Approaching

Currently, former SPG brands leverage Brightcove to house all property- and above-property videos. Marriott has recently renegotiated a new agreement and will be migrating videos from the Brightcove account to the new Marriott Brightcove account.

The videos will only be migrated if the following two assets can be supplied:

ADA compliance, and
proper usage rights.

Under the new agreement, Marriott will be migrating all videos that are ADA compliant with proper usage rights to new accounts now through Sep. 30. Effective Oct. 1, current URLs will become inactive and non-compliant and in-active videos will be archived. Once videos are archived, they can be reactivated with proper compliance documentation. Hotels received details via Weekly Update in July and should be taking steps to ensure the necessary assets are supplied for any active property videos. Additional details are available on MGS.
