Make a Green Choice (MAGC) Launch for MOXY Hotels
This information was communicated to hotels via the September 30 Weekly Update.
As of October 4, Make a Green Choice (MAGC), the guest-facing sustainability and loyalty program that enables guests to pass housekeeping service and reduce our environmental footprint in exchange for Marriott Bonvoy points or planting a tree (The Arbor Day or WEARTH), will be available for all MOXY hotels in the U.S. & Canada.
- MOXY Hotels in the U.S. and Canada now have the option to implement “Make a Green Choice”, with the continent-wide opt-in becoming available via Land-it on October 4, 2019.
- Newly enhanced and automated features will be tested for FOSSE users beginning in Q4 2019 with a full MAGC FOSSE deployment expected by year end.
As a reminder, the objective of MAGC is to provide guests staying a minimum of 2 nights the opportunity to personalize the stay and opt into a green program. For each day a member foregoes housekeeping, they have the opportunity to earn 250 Marriott Bonvoy points or plant a tree.
