Mobile Key Disabled at Saflok Hotels for Android Devices


This information will be communicated to hotels via the September 30 version of the Weekly Update.

To ensure guests have a positive experience with Mobile Key, the Android version of Mobile Key was disabled for hotels with locks from Saflok (dorma kaba) on Tuesday, September 24.

Members with iPhone devices are not impacted and can continue requesting and using Mobile Keys. Guests using Android phones at impacted hotels during this period will not have an option within their Marriott Bonvoy app to use Mobile Key. Hotels should continue monitoring Mobile Check-Ins and send Mobile Keys for all members who request one.

We will issue follow up communications once the issues with Android devices have been resolved at hotels with Saflok (dorma kaba). Thank you for your patience and support as we work to resolve the issues with the Android version of Mobile Key.
