Residence Inn & TownePlace Suites Franchise Management Companies | As previously communicated, Marriott launched a new Brand Voice including updates to logos and brand voice design for Residence Inn and TownePlace Suites earlier this year. The objective of these updates is to create a fresh and distinct look and feel for each brand that aligns with its brand positioning, strengthens its portfolio affiliation with a consistent treatment of the “by Marriott” endorsement, and introduces the modern Marriott endorsement font. As a reminder, the BSA compliance date for hotels in the U.S. and Canada is Oct. 1.

In addition to supporting the pull-through of changes in your properties, franchise management companies are asked to also review the identity and logos for brands that are reflected on your individual company websites and social media presence (e.g., Management Company Facebook pages). If you currently display logos for Marriott brands, please make sure they are updated to the newest versions, which are available on MGS:
