Courtyard Gen 6.5 New Prototype – New Build and Renovation Documentation Available
Courtyard’s new Inspired Classic design has been released. The release includes design documentation for new builds and renovations for both the public space and guest rooms.
Courtyard continues to move forward by elevating the brand experience, basing the Inspired Classic design on classic and clean lines, solid colors, and modern furniture. The Inspired Classic aesthetic creates classic style and elevated spaces to support the Courtyard guest as they follow their passions.
Some key features include:
- A new, wider sleeper sofa with an innovative, non-traditional sleeper mechanism that provides comfortable seating and sleep experiences
- Flexible replacement strategy for case goods features, allowing for replacement of metal finishes and accent colors over the life of the product
- A warm color palette based on neutrals and subtle, sophisticated primary color accents
- An inviting and bar-forward public space design to encourage lobby activation
The new prototype and design are required for all new hotels approved as of Nov. 1, 2019, and the new design is required for all hotel renovation work beginning after Nov. 1, 2019 in the U.S. and Canada.
