Prepare for Lightspeed Server Refresh

LightSpeed server hardware will continue to be replaced in 2020 at ~170 legacy SPG-branded properties. The servers being replaced are six or more years old and need to be replaced to avoid potential failure and interruption of operations. The Lightspeed project team will be responsible for placing the order on all new LightSpeed servers. Properties will be receiving 1 of 3 servers models based on their hotel size and whether they have a server rack in place. Costs around hardware and implementations will range from $5,050 to $11,950, depending on server type. Details for these fees will also be made available when the Project Coordinator initiates contact with the property GM. The cost estimate excludes any fees around equipment required to setup SFTP backups, hardware disposal, and shipping/tax estimates for the new hardware.
