Organizational Update: Americas Topline Franchise Services and Support


Franchise Management Companies in the U.S. and Canada | The Topline Franchise Services and Support organization, led by Anne Marie Wemmlinger, Vice President of Topline Franchise Services and Support, is a key partner to franchise management companies in driving topline performance. The organization’s mission is to increase connectivity to Marriott topline resources, revenue generation priorities, and programs; achieve shared goals; and drive owner and franchise satisfaction.

Anne Marie joined the Topline Franchise Services and Support organization on Nov. 9, 2019. In this position, she provides leadership and influence to ensure that Marriott’s key Sales, Marketing, and Revenue Management priorities and programs are implemented, sustained, and optimized in franchised hotels. Previously, Anne Marie served as Vice President, BMSC Operations Support Services, and spent much of her Marriott career in Sales, Revenue Management, and on property as a General Manager and Director of Operations.

Topline Franchise Services and Support sits under the Americas Consumer Operations organization (formerly BMSC Americas), led by Chief Sales and Marketing Officer Steve Heitzner, with connectivity to the Marriott Owner Franchise Services (OFS) organization. Over the last several months, this organization has enhanced how it supports franchise partners to maximize revenue across Revenue Management, Sales, Marketing and Digital channels and products.

Under Anne Marie’s leadership, two components of the organization work together to serve and support Marriott franchise partners:

Growth and Services Development

Led by Matt Dolan, Vice President, Franchise Growth and Services Development, this part of the organization supports the development, growth, and adoption of topline programs, services, and initiatives by:

  • Creating and enhancing industry leading topline franchise solutions
  • Serving as the voice of the franchisee when developing new topline initiatives/programs
  • Identifying opportunities to increase franchise management company satisfaction

Service Delivery and Performance

Led by Dave Keamy, Vice President Franchise Service Delivery and Performance, this part of the organization focuses on topline performance and franchise management company satisfaction by:

  • Partnering with the OFS Account Executives and AVPs to identify topline opportunity areas within a franchise management company portfolio to drive performance
  • Partnering with franchise management companies to drive existing topline initiatives and recommend resources that complement their topline objectives
  • Delivering positive outcomes and high stakeholder engagement during franchise management company meetings and events

The Americas Topline Franchise Services and Support organization is committed to providing the services and support that will help the franchise community achieve maximum revenue and RevPar growth.
