SpringHill Suites Launches The Gallery Wall Program
This information was communicated to hotels via the Feb. 3 Weekly Update.
As a way to differentiate from competitors and reinforce the brand’s stylish point-of-view, SpringHill Suites is launching a new brand program, The Gallery Wall. In partnership with Society6, an online art marketplace with over 300,000 independent artists, The Gallery Wall is intended for display in all SpringHill Suites lobbies (or other highly visible public space) and will feature a curated collection of artwork, customized for 10 different regions across North America.
The Gallery Wall program will be supported by a comprehensive brand marketing and PR campaign including a co-branded landing page on Society6.com and a 20% discount offer at Society6.com for all SpringHill Suites guests. There is no direct cost to hotels for the program as costs will be covered by the System Marketing Fund (SMF).
Marriott will pre-assign each hotel to receive a 5- or 10-piece Gallery Wall based on the hotel’s generation and décor. The hotel will receive a form to complete which provides the opportunity to select between two versions of their regional Gallery Wall as well as adjust the assigned size (5-or 10-piece), before Society6 ships Gallery Wall Kits to hotels.
Next Steps
- Hotels will begin receiving their Gallery Wall Kits in mid-March and are required to complete installation of The Gallery Wall by May 22.
- The Gallery Wall will be included on the BSA beginning on July 1, 2020.
- Hotel General Managers are invited to participate in a kick-off webinar on Feb. 12, where members of the brand team will explain more about the program and how to properly install The Gallery Wall in the hotel lobby. Franchise Management Companies should encourage their hotel GMs to register for the webinar.
Additional details will be made available via MGS directly following the Feb. 12 kick-off webinar.
