One-Year Anniversary

For the one-year anniversary of Marriott Bonvoy on February 13, 2020, hotels were encouraged to plan a celebration across the total hotel to engage all departments.


February Marriott Bonvoy Connector Email

Each month, Marriott Bonvoy Connectors continue to receive an email with the information needed to complete the activities in that month’s journey. Connectors should review the February email and plan to attend an upcoming Connector Call on Feb. 19 at 4 p.m. ET or Feb. 20 at 2 p.m. ET.


Marriott Bonvoy Credit Card Digital Placements

To drive awareness of and consideration for Marriott Bonvoy Credit Cards, new Marriott Bonvoy Credit Card Digital Placements will be pushed to hotel portal pages in the coming weeks. New digital placements will also pushed to the GoBoard for Courtyard hotels and to S-Canvases for SpringHill Suites hotels. Hotels are encouraged to complete required tasks in the newly renamed Marriott Bonvoy Land-It tasklist (previously Loyalty 2019) and review the one-pager in Land-It to prepare for guest inquiries. 


WE Charity Partnership

Effective January 29, Marriott Bonvoy has partnered with WE Charity to help build a bright future for Kabolwo, a farming community in Kenya. ​Marriott Bonvoy members can now donate points to fund activities supporting one of the Five Pillars of Impact: education, clean water, health care, food security and financial opportunity. Annual Hotel Category Changes and Inventory Control Dates (ICDs)

As communicated on Feb. 5, Marriott Bonvoy has determined which hotels are changing categories for 2020. These changes will be effective for all redemption reservations booked on or after March 4, 2020. Additionally, details regarding ICDs – which were extended to legacy SPG hotels – as well as Cash + Points information, were also shared.
