Reminder | Opt-In for Mobile Key Third-Party Support by March 1
This information will be provided to hotels via the February 10 Weekly Update.
Franchise Management Companies | As previously communicated, to ensure hotels have the support needed to activate Mobile Key in 2020, hotels were instructed to budget for $2,500 in deployment support to more effectively complete preparations and activate on schedule. Third-party project management support is currently optional for franchise hotels but will be required at an increased price of $5,000 for hotels that have not opted in or gone live with Mobile Key by Aug. 1.
Hotels will receive a reminder via the Weekly Update to sign up for deployment support. GMs have been asked to opt-in or opt-out of this support via the opt-in forms below by March 1, 2020.
- To opt-in or opt-out specific hotels, GMs should complete the Mobile Key – Third-Party Support Participation (Hotel) form.
- If you have more than one hotel and would like to make a participation decision for all of your hotels, complete the Mobile Key – Third-Party Support Participation (Management Company) form and indicate which vendor (Datatrend or Centrada) you’d like to utilize.
As a reminder, all hotels not live with Mobile Key must go-live in 2020 to comply with the Mobile Key brand standard. Hotels not compliant with the brand standard will enter the red zone in 2021 under the Marriott Accountability Program.
