Take note of the following important Marriott Bonvoy updates that have been enacted to address impacts of COVID-19.
Redemption Inventory Control Dates (ICDs)
To address impacts of COVID-19, properties will be allowed up to ten changes (previously four) to the dates it implements ICDs for 2020. Any changes already made in 2020 will be deducted from the allowable ten changes within the Redemption ICDs screen in HPP. This update is a one-time change to address COVID-19. At the beginning of 2021, ICD changes will be reset back to four allowable changes per calendar year. Off Peak/Peak
All hotel category escalation and Off Peak/Peak band adjustments are currently on hold. Off Peak/Peak was refreshed on March 14 as hotels updated their One Yield projections. Given the rapidly changing business environment, ensure accurate inputs across the five steps of One Yield are updated based upon recent trends. There will be another algorithm refresh on March 27 to allow the most recent changes and closures to be factored into the latest update.
