Operations Updates

Near-term Hotel Activities Cleanliness Champion Recognition

Phase 1 and 2 Knowledge Checks

Available now, the Phase 2 Knowledge Check is designed to verify that Champions have completed, understand, and acted upon Modules 6 and 8-11 of the Commitment to Clean training. Cleanliness Champions should have completed Phase 1 Knowledge Check previously.

  • Complete Commitment to Clean Training Modules (1-11, completed in August)
  • Complete Knowledge Checks in DLZ
    • Phase 1 (Modules 1-5, PAST DUE)
    • Phase 2 (Modules 6, 8-11, DUE 11/13)
      • Each is a 10-15 Question Knowledge Assessment in DLZ (must score >80%) 

Assessment Completion

  • Step 1: Access the Digital Learning Zone. Click on “My Plan” in the top navigation bar
  • Step 2: Scroll through the courses. Click “View More Courses” if you don’t see the “Cleanliness Champion Phase 2 Knowledge Check”
  • Step 3: Locate the “Cleanliness Champion Phase 2 Knowledge Check” and click “View Details”
  • Step 4: Click Start Course and complete the 15-item Knowledge Check

Cleanliness Champions are auto-assigned the Knowledge Check. If it’s not in the Recommended Learning courses: click Name in top right, click Profile, click Edit on “What Additional Job Functions Do You Perform” section, add Cleanliness Champion. Sign out of DLZ, sign back in. Associates can also search myLearning for Assessment 1213171.

Commitment to Clean Certification

There are three new questions for the November Commitment to Clean Certification.

  1. F+B Minimum
  2. Face Coverings
  3. Guest Room High Touch Cleaning

Hotels must complete the November Commitment to Clean Certification by Nov. 30 at 5pm ET.

Hotels interested in Marriott Digital Services (MDS) support, who are not already registered, should enroll by Nov. 30 for support starting Dec. 1. Hotels are encouraged to join one of the following webinars on Nov. 10 at 2pm EST or Nov. 11 at 11am EST. Additional self-service marketing tools and resources are available to all hotels through the Field Marketing Resource Center.
