Register for Franchise GM Webinar Series

The franchise GM webinar series will be held monthly and will feature content from Marriott discipline leaders to provide updates on program deployments, brand standards, and other timely topics. Registration is currently open for the Nov. 9 and Dec. 9 calls, which will both be held at 2 p.m. ET. The webinars will be recorded and posted on MGS for those who are unable to join. Please note: this webinar is intended for GMs only and capacity is limited; should you wish to include other members of your leadership team, we ask that you join together.

Review Retail Outlet Refresh Implementation Guides to Ensure Compliance by Jan. 1, 2022
As part of the overall F&B Updates, changes are being made to retail outlet standards to simplify the requirements for hotels. Review the updated brand-specific Retail Outlet Implementation Guide to prepare for the changes to take effect with the updated BSA on Jan. 1, 2022.

•Classic Select Brand Hotels (CY, FF, FP, RI, SHS, TPS): Review the guide in preparation for a new question being added to the BSA beginning in January.

•Distinctive Select Brands (Moxy | AC | ELMT | AH): Review details, which include a new vendor and order guide.

Do Not Upgrade to Windows 11
Due to compatibility issues with the current version of LightSpeed and Windows 11, LightSpeed users should not upgrade to Windows 11 at this time. Users should continue to use Internet Explorer 11 only, as LightSpeed will not work correctly in other browsers. The LightSpeed team continues to work on testing browser compatibility, and will share updates as they are available.

Franchise GM Webinar Update

Details

The new Franchise GM Webinar series will launch in November.
- Webinars will be held monthly.
- Registration is currently open for the Nov. 9 and Dec. 9 calls, which will both be held at 2 p.m. ET.
- The webinars will be recorded and posted on MGS for those who are unable to join.
At the time we launch, we will move the FMC series from weekly back to twice monthly (1st and 3rd Thursday of the month).
- We do not anticipate sharing information on franchise GM webinars that would be new to FMC contacts.
- You do not need to join these webinars; however, you are welcome to register using the links above should you wish to participate.
The Franchise GM series will be announced as a Key Action in today’s U.S. & Canada Franchise Update; future webinars will be communicated in the webinar section each month moving forward.
