AC Hotels by Marriott is growing rapidly in North America, adding new value in our Luxury & Lifestyle category. Protea is now helping us dominate in the Middle East & Africa. We have reshaped our global brand management teams to ensure that each brand has the vigorous leadership needed to lead the industry. Please join us in congratulating the following leaders:

Luxury & Lifestyle Brand Management | Reporting to Tina Edmundson

Toni Stoeckl, Vice President, Lifestyle Brand Management – Renaissance Hotels, MOXY Hotels & AC Hotels by Marriott. Toni will have strategic brand management responsibilities for several key global lifestyle brands. To ensure we leverage our expertise in limited service operating models and unit-level economics in the lifestyle category, Owner & Franchise Services support and leadership over AC Hotels and MOXY will continue to reside within Liam Brown’s organization. Jeff Ford, Adam Sherer and Joe Carrillo will continue to lead the teams that support these and all Select Service & Extended Stay brands.

 

 

Signature Brand Management | Reporting to Janis Milham

Callette NielCalletteNielsensen, Vice President & Global Brand Manager, Courtyard. Callette was previously Brand Vice President for SpringHill Suites and led the introduction of the AC Hotels brand to the U.S. prior to taking on her new role with Courtyard. One of Callette’s major roles will be ensuring Courtyard is positioned to win with the millennial target consumer in order to maintain leadership in the upper-moderate hotel category and continue to grow this “power brand.”

 

 

LorenNalewanski

Loren Nalewanski, Vice President & Global Brand Manager, SpringHill Suites and TownePlace Suites. With a continued focus on high performance and the development of these emerging brands, Loren is charged with growing both SpringHill Suites and TownePlace Suites domestically to ensure both brands dominate their categories.

 

 

 

DianeMayerDiane Mayer, Vice President & Global Brand Manager, Residence Inn and Marriott Executive Apartments. With the international expansion of Residence Inn and the current international footprint of Marriott Executive Apartments, Diane will be charged with ensuring that extended stay growth and development is maximized between these two brands globally. As a passionate advocate for extended stay, Diane will pair this focus on growing our footprint globally with ensuring Residence Inn remains the category killer in the U.S.

 

 

ShrutiBuckleyShruti Buckley, Vice President & Global Brand Manager, Fairfield and Protea. In addition to her current Fairfield responsibilities, Shruti will have strategic brand responsibility for Protea and will partner with continent leaders to ensure the Protea brand is well positioned to capture the next generation of travelers in critical emerging markets. The aggressive growth plans of Protea in the Middle East & Africa require strategic brand management support for the continent, with a lens on identifying further integration into Marriott’s Sales & Marketing engines.
