2015 AH&LA Legislative Action Summit

As part of our partnership with AH&LA, we would like to encourage you to attend the 2015 AH&LA Legislative Action Summit (LAS) which will take place April 14-15 in Washington, D.C.

The annual LAS brings representatives from different areas of the hotel industry together in meetings with lawmakers and key staff, providing an opportunity to tell the story of our industry and discuss how what happens in D.C. affects our business.

This year, AH&LA is partnering with the National Restaurant Association Public Affairs Conference for the joint hospitality day on the Hill. AH&LA will also be joined by the Asian American Hotel Owners Association (AAHOA) for the conference.  All owners and franchisees are welcome to attend, even if you have never lobbied or taken a meeting with a Member of Congress. AH&LA will provide the training and materials necessary to ensure a smooth meeting.

With so many pressing issues facing our industry today – including extreme wage initiatives, tax parity for OTAs, and the assault on the franchise model – AH&LA’s LAS is critical to help shape the future of the lodging industry.
