Erika Alexander Named Chief Lodging Services Officer, The Americas


ErikaAlexanderOver the past month, we’ve had some exciting changes on my leadership team. I’m pleased to announce another fantastic addition to the Americas leadership team. Erika Alexander has accepted the position of Chief Lodging Services Officer, The Americas and will start in her new role on June 13.

Erika will have responsibility for the development and implementation of product and service strategies across more than 3,500 hotels in the Americas as well as for providing feedback on programs already implemented. She will also have responsibility for ensuring that brand programming is activated on property.

Currently, Erika is Area Vice President, Americas, Eastern Region. During her 25 years with Marriott, Erika has held a variety of positions including positions in hotel sales and operations, as well as in Brand Management.

Erika has a BA from the University of Virginia and an MBA from George Mason University. Over the years, Erika and her teams have received several awards. Additionally, she was a 2002 International Women’s Forum Leadership Foundation Fellow, and in 2014, she received the Marriott International Diversity & Inclusion Trailblazer Award.

Erika’s drive for operational performance and her brand strategy experience make her a great fit for this role. Join me in congratulating Erika on her new role.
