Support Service Renewals from Oracle/MICROS
Franchisees | As part of Oracle’s ongoing automation and integration of support service renewals, Marriott-branded properties may have delays in receiving support renewal invoices from Oracle related to the Simphony GPOS system. Oracle and Marriott are continuing to work together to finalize Support Renewal Quote Letters for all properties falling under MICROS agreements for the Simphony GPOS system.
Properties should not experience any service interruption due to these delays, regardless of their support expiration date. Oracle and Marriott will provide another communication when Support Renewal invoicing has resumed. At this time, we are uncertain when the invoicing will resume.
Furthermore, Oracle has asked us to communicate the following specific instructions regarding renewal quotes being received. Any property which received a support renewal quote prior to this notice or receives a support renewal quote prior to receiving a notice from Marriott that the renewal process has resumed, can ignore said quote (do not pay). If you have received a quote or receive one before receiving notice from Marriott that the renewal process has resumed, please contact the Oracle support renewal managers, whom are listed below, to either confirm that the quote has been withdrawn or request that it be withdrawn.
