“Your Choice” Expanding to Select Courtyard, Fairfield and SpringHill Suites Hotels
As communicated in March, Marriott’s Your Choice program allows Marriott Rewards members staying two or more nights the opportunity to choose which days they will receive housekeeping service. For each day that a guest at a participating Marriott Hotels (MH) or Renaissance Hotels (RH) property declines housekeeping service, they receive 500 Rewards Bonus Points. This program was designed to be deployed to MH and RH properties through two waves; Wave 1 launched on April 6 and Wave 2 will be launching on September 4.
Your Choice was developed based on guest feedback and was intended to increase the value of the Marriott Rewards program in order to meet the needs of the next generation of guests. Now that the rollout to MH and RH properties is underway, we are preparing to expand the Your Choice program to select Courtyard, Fairfield, and SpringHill Suites properties. Select Service hotels participating in Your Choice will offer guests 250 Rewards Bonus Points for each day they decline housekeeping service.
Most Marriott-managed hotels are required to participate. The program is optional for franchised hotels; however, participation is encouraged in order to create a consistent experience for our most loyal guests. GMs will be notified by their AVP (for MI-managed hotels) or via the Aug. 31 Weekly Update (for franchised hotels).
