Marriott Organizational Update | Roz Winegrad Named AVP, Owner and Franchise Services of Canada
I am pleased to announce that Roz Winegrad has accepted the position of Area Vice President of Owner and Franchise Services of Canada, reporting to me with a dotted line to Liam Brown, President, Select Service & Extended Stay Lodging and Owner & Franchise Services, North America.
In this role, Roz will ensure that Marriott’s key operational priorities are implemented in supporting our Canadian franchisees and managed owners. As the leader of Franchise Account Management across Full Service and SS/ES franchisees and management companies, she will be the strategic business leader leveraging Marriott’s system tools and resources for franchisees to optimize revenue and operate on-strategy hotels. In partnership with Owner Services and Managed by Marriott operations, she will work toward driving owner satisfaction with a balanced approach to Marriott International’s interests. Finally, Roz will work closely with the Canadian development team, providing support and expertise on the design process, due diligence and operational excellence.
Roz has extensive experience working with owners and franchisees. For the last 15 years, she has worked in Full Service Franchising, Owner Services account leadership and most recently led the Business Engagement and Services team in providing owner and franchisee communications, initiative management, development marketing tools, OASIS support and Product Integrity leadership. Roz was responsible for creating the initiative management framework, launched mi360 for owner and franchisee communications, and led various strategic projects including the annual FDD update process, MINA meeting and the annual owner & franchisee survey. Prior to her corporate roles, Roz spent several years working on property in leadership roles in culinary, Food & Beverage, operations and as Director of Catering at the New York Marriott Marquis.
