Fairfield “Rally to Serve” Program
Fairfield Franchise Management Companies | Rally to Serve® is Fairfield’s annual community-service program to benefit Habitat for Humanity. Fairfield supports Habitat for Humanity by engaging team members, owners, franchisees, and guests to provide for families in need of affordable housing in our local communities.
This year we have made it easier than ever to participate! We are starting the process and opening the registration site earlier, and also expanding the time you and your hotels have to partner with your local Habitat affiliate. We encourage you to support your hotels in:
- Reaching out to their local Habitat for Humanity affiliate to begin planning a support activity. There are over 1,500 affiliates in the U.S. and Canada, and hotels can find theirs via habitat.org.
- Planning an activity with the hotel team and Habitat for Humanity affiliate.
- Registering their activity on the Fairfield Rally to Serve 2016 Registration Site.
- Executing their activity on the planned date. Have fun! And please take pictures!
- Sending their pictures to us at ffiheadquarters@marriott.com.
This year, we will send every hotel that participates five (5) Fairfield Rally to Serve t-shirts. Extra shirts are also available to purchase, but we want to get everybody started!
If your team is unable to get out for a house-build activity, there are many alternative ways to participate:
- Volunteer hours at local Habitat ReStore
- Donate product from the hotel (especially during renovations)
- Raise money for local Habitat for Humanity chapters by engaging hotel teams and guests in a fun way
- Make a financial donation from the hotel
- Fill the pantry for a family moving into a Habitat home
- Local Habitat affiliates will have even more ideas…so please call them!
Brand leaders and Marriott executives will help build a home in the Washington, D.C. area, and our goal is to have at least 300 hotels participate in Rally to Serve 2016. This is a great way to plan a fun event for your team members, and give back to your local community at the same time.
Fairfield began its relationship with Habitat for Humanity in 1995 with the grand opening of the brand’s 200th hotel, the Austin South Fairfield Inn. Since 2004, Fairfield Inn & Suites has contributed volunteer labor and funds toward the completion of over 200 homes. At a corporate level, Fairfield and the Marriott Family Foundation have sponsored at least two houses each year for the past 17 years. We appreciate your support in encouraging your hotels to participate in Rally to Serve 2016.
