Associate Rate Best Practices and Procedures
Please note: This information will be communicated to franchised properties in the U.S. and Canada via the September 19 Weekly Update.
As you know, Marriott owners and franchisees may enjoy the Associate Pleasure Rate and Friends & Family Rate (when available) at Marriott-branded properties by utilizing discounts cards and/or authorization forms at check-in. In an effort to protect the Room Rate Discount Program, a lookup tool was established for properties to utilize upon check-in in order to validate these forms. While there are no current changes to validation procedures, we’d like to provide an overview of this process for your awareness and reference:

Review Expiration Date*

(New) Look Up Card or Authorization Form*

Retain a copy of the Card or Form (and ensure Card is signed)
