Marriott Athletic VIP Program
Note that the below information will be communicated to both Marriott-branded and former Starwood-branded hotels in the U.S. and Canada within the May 28 Weekly Update and Week Ahead emails.
The Marriott Athletic VIP Card Program is an exclusive discount program in the U.S. & Canada designed for the key athletic staff member who has oversight of their individual team and/or organization’s team travel requirement. The program is celebrating its 43rd year and is highly coveted as an exclusive membership club within the sports industry. Recent updates to this program have been made and now include Starwood-branded properties.
The VIP Card is offered to select athletic staff of amateur, collegiate, and profession teams. Eligibility requirements were designed and targeted towards “pre-qualified” key members of the coaching, scouting, front office, and administrative staff who travel frequently and have direct input into team travel decisions.
Hotels that wish to participate in the Athletic VIP Program should opt-in by having Revenue Managers load rates by June 16.
