Reminder: Human Trafficking Prevention Training
Franchise Management Companies | The United Nations’ World Day Against Trafficking in Persons on July 30 serves as a reminder of Marriott’s commitment to supporting human rights issues.
As previously communicated, human rights training, which includes training on child exploitation, forced labor, and human trafficking prevention, has been added to the 2017 Required Training Document. Associates at all Managed by Marriott and franchised properties must complete training by December 31, 2017 (new associates hired after January 1, 2017 must complete training within in the first 90 days of hire). Associates at franchised properties may use the Marriott training or complete an alternative training that covers all forms of human trafficking, including forced labor and sexual exploitation. Details and alternative options are available on MGS.
