Aloft Beverage & Food Program Boot Camp


Note: this post was updated on Sept. 1 as Canadian hotels are now invited to participate in these boot camp sessions.

The Aloft Culinary and Brand teams are excited to announce the new Beverage and Food (B&F) program coming in 2018. The new menus are designed to better align with our brand strategy and to better meet the needs of our target guest. We have been piloting new offerings for both our Re:fuel and WXYZ menus and are now preparing to deploy these offerings to all Aloft properties in the U.S. on Jan. 1, 2018.

Required Boot Camp Training

To help prepare properties for the new B&F program, we have designed a comprehensive, two-day training boot camp for the property B&F Coach of your GM’s designation. GMs will be asked to register the Coach to attend one of the following sessions:

  • Charlotte, NC – Aloft Charlotte Ballantyne:
    • Session 1: October 24-25
    • Session 2: October 26-27
  • Denver, CO – Aloft Denver Downtown:
    • Session 3: November 7-8
    • Session 4: November 9-10

There is no cost to your property for the training session; however, properties are responsible for all travel and room expenses.

Required action, including identifying the Coach and registering them to attend one of the above Boot Camp sessions by Oct. 9, will be shared with GMs via the Aug. 28 Week Ahead email.
