Bed Type Conversion Prerequisite for Enhanced Reservation Solution (ERS)


Franchise Management Companies of Full Service Marriott Rewards Hotels | As previously communicated via our Revenue Management Roadmap, we are working to deploy the Enhanced Reservation Solution (ERS) in the 2nd quarter of 2018. ERS is a new booking experience and approach to merchandising and selling hotel rooms. ERS will provide Marriott’s customers with more choice and flexibility and centers around presenting guests with options to select and purchase room features (or “attributes”) they most value that will be guaranteed upon arrival.

As you know, the rollout of One Yield v2 is well underway and hotels across the Americas are beginning to experience benefits of the new system. In addition to One Yield v2, Bed Type Conversion is also a prerequisite for ERS. We will begin Bed Type Conversion rollout activities for FSPMS hotels in the U.S. in several waves throughout the remainder of 2017.

Next Steps

Wave 1 will kick off November 15 – 16 with the Property Team Kick-Off call. In advance of the kick off, hotels will receive an email notification with additional details. Waves 2 and 3 will follow over the coming months. You will be notified in advance of each wave for which you have an impacted hotel.

Support services will be available for a fee to hotels that are unable to meet milestones on time (cost will vary from approximately $650 – $3,000+ depending on hotel size and tasks).
