Guestroom Entertainment Vendor Update
Sonifi, a U.S.-based interactive television provider, now joins Guest-Tek, Enseo, and World-Cinema as an approved Guestroom Entertainment vendor in the U.S. and Canada. Sonifi will now be able to contract with properties to provide them with the Guestroom Entertainment platform, as well as Connect My Device. As previously communicated, Connect My Device is a new, optional feature that allows guests to stream their personal content onto the guestroom television.
The process for a hotel wishing to contract with one of these vendors has not changed – when a property completes their Property Information Survey, all regionally-approved vendors will receive the information and provide a bid to the property. The property then selects which vendor they would like to work with, and moves forward to schedule a site visit and installation. If a property has already worked with a vendor to install the Guestroom Entertainment platform, they are free to consider any regionally-approved vendor once their current contract expires.
