2018 Required Training Now Available in ‘Build a Learning Plan’

Franchise Management Companies | All training required in 2018 for Marriott Rewards and SPG hotels is now available in the “Build a Learning Plan” tool, which is accessible via MGS, myPDR, and myLearning, or directly via Build a Learning Plan.

This tool should be used to create required training plans for all new associates on-property. Associates and managers will be able to select multiple criteria to receive a personalized list of required training items for themselves or others. In an effort to simplify the process of completing all required training, the required training items will link directly to myLearning and can be accessed via mobile devices. Learning plans can be emailed or saved as PDFs to allow for ongoing reference and easy sharing. For additional details and a demo video of this tool, visit MGS.

Note: The Required Training document linked above will continue to be available as a reference and for your overall planning purposes, but should not be used to create required training plans. All plans should be developed using the “Build a Learning Plan” tool.

Updated myLearning Features

The catalog view in myLearning has been updated with a modern design and an improved way to highlight courses that are recommended, highly rated or featured. Learners can also easily view courses based on topics such as brand or business system training. Similar updates and improvements to myLearning will be communicated as they are published.
