SPG Pro Offers to Retire March 31
SPG Pro Offers
SPG Pro Offers are global group sales offers currently used by SPG properties. As part of Marriott’s ongoing efforts to align marketing and loyalty programs, SPG Pro Offers will be retired when offers expire on March 31, 2018. To support the replacement of the program, Marriott’s first-ever North America portfolio-wide group offer, featuring all Marriott Rewards and SPG brands, will launch in Q2. This promotion will feature a bonus points element and sweepstakes, and will be supported with direct sales tools (i.e. flyers, editable email templates, etc.) and a print and digital media campaign.
It is important to note that the SPG and SPG Pro loyalty programs are not retiring at this time and continue to operate per business as usual. The retirement of the SPG Pro Offers program and the submission deadlines were communicated to SPG hotels via the Feb. 26 Weekly Update. Additional information is available on MGS.
ISAC BD Tool
The ISAC BD Tool is an eTool used by SPG hotels in North America and Asia Pacific for the purpose of prospecting and informing group sales calls. In addition to the retirement of the SPG Pro Offers program, as part of Marriott’s efforts to align sales and catering systems, the ISAC BD tool will no longer be available starting April 1, 2018.
This change was also communicated to SPG hotels via the Feb. 26 Weekly Update, and all hotels with access to the ISAC BD Tool will receive a direct email with details regarding the retirement of the tool and prospecting alternatives. Please note that the ISAC sales and catering system is not retiring at this time and will continue to function per business as usual.
