Elevated Hotel Website Application Process
Effective on Launch Day, all hotels – including SPG hotels – have a high-performing standard hotel website (HWS) on Marriott International’s digital platform. Qualified SPG properties received an Elevated HWS via a phased rollout that began in September. This new version of the HWS product is intended for properties with diverse services and amenities that need a more experiential way to tell their hotel’s story.
Elevated HWS allow for more customization and additional content & photography. Each hotel can choose which aspects of their hotel to feature most prominently on their website. Additionally, an Elevated HWS provides the capability to add custom detail pages as needed to support the hotel’s offerings, such as on-property restaurants, spas, golf courses, fitness centers, and guest room types. Hotels must apply to receive an Elevated HWS.
Sheraton Hotels
Qualified Sheraton Hotels can apply now to receive an Elevated Hotel Website. To learn more about the application process and requirements, please visit MGS.
Luxury Brands
Beginning November 5, all Luxury hotels (JW Marriott, St. Regis, W Hotels, The Luxury Collection, EDITION) on Marriott.com may apply for an Elevated Hotel Website following the same previous qualification criteria. This application process is for SPG luxury hotels that did not receive approval for an elevated HWS earlier this year, as well as for all JW Marriott and EDITION hotels.
All Remaining Hotels
All other hotels will be able to apply (and, if necessary, re-apply if they did not meet the requirements to receive an Elevated website in 2018) for an Elevated website starting in Q1-Q2 2019, as referenced on the following Elevated Website Application Schedule on MGS.
For more information on the application process and requirements for each Hotel Brand, visit the HWS User Guide page on MGS. Details are being shared with hotels via the Weekly Update, as appropriate, based on their hotel brand.
