Sertifi Tool Rollout (Third Party Payments)

Marriott International has partnered with Sertifi to offer a safe and secure third-party payment management tool to hotels. This tool can be used in place of Marriott Rewards hotels’ current manual faxing process and SPG hotels’ current eCCA portal used to send/receive credit-card authorization forms on property. This tool can be used by Events, Finance, Front Office, Group Housing, and Reservations associates on property to facilitate third-party receipt payment forms.
The cost of Sertifi for hotels is included as part of the Program Service Fund (PSF), and as such, we highly recommend that hotels utilize Sertifi. If your hotels do not participate in the PSF, Sertifi will be billed for separately and was provided in the 2019 budget instructions.
The timeline to deploy Sertifi has been expedited to SPG hotels as their current solution, eCCA, will be going away on January 11 due to the shutdown of the Phoenix Data Warehouse that supports it. Marriott will be engaging with SPG hotels in early December for a launch on January 7 to avoid a transition to a manual process, with Marriott Rewards hotels following in the latter stages of Q1 2019. Furthermore, franchise hotels which may already be using an off-the-shelf version of Sertifi will have the ability to transition to the Marriott International enterprise-wide Master Service Agreement (MSA) with Sertifi in Q1 2019.
